is he part of the racing club? Any shares left?
Not sure what we will do. Our plan is for fillies and we have a possible buyer for him. I hate to part with him. We'll have to see how it goes. Bill Wofford at Rimroc Farm gives him his highest rating.
Like it
Two years old is to young and they know it, but it's just money to them. It doesn't matter the damage they do to the horses.
Not true. You should check out PETA's horrific record of euthanizing 90% of their so called "rescued dogs", animals that are perfectly healthy.
Beautiful baby girl. Named yet?
Club members will name her by submitting names and then voting
I just wish they started them at 3 years. She is beautiful though. What's your thoughts on a more mature age?
We are trying to work that into our overall plan. It is trickier than you think.
Congratulations. She is beautiful.
Jay love how he gallops with that neck bowed !!! Good confirmation as well!!! Can't wait to see this guy at the races
They tell me he loves to get out there and go
@@JayCNehfracing looks a little like his daddy on this Father's Day
What is the breeding?? Thanks
He is by champion 2 y.o. and BC winner Classic Empire. His dam is by Stay Thirsty.
"...ramblin boy, why don't you settle down. Boston can't be your kind of town. There ain't no gold..." :-D
LOL
She's got some leg to her
Really nice looking filly, Jay. Congrats!
CONGRATS, JAY...ANOTHER MIRACLE!! ALL...THE..BEST!!🙏🔥💯👍🇺🇸
Thanks!
Sorry to hear about Golden Gate Fields closing. Another good track bites the dust. Where will all the horses go as these tracks keep closing? Racing has got to be the most under appreciated sport.
Looks like they changed too many things at once, rider and bit, horse came in third and was not a factor.
Wow I have never seen a cage bit before. Interesting concept. I am rooting for Seize the Grey but hearing this is Sierra Leone's race to lose.
❤ I own 2 micro shares of him. He has already paid for my purchase and then some. Went to see him in Ocala last yr. as 2 yr.old. Go Grey!
🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇
Awesome detailed explanation. Good on you for the lesson given.
1:41 Flightline had a 6 race career and he raced for 2 years! Yet Breeders are falling all over themselves to breed their mares to him!🤦
I think it's unfair for Chad Brown to take Tyler off the horse before they tried the equipment change in the Belmont
Whirlaway ran like Sierra Leone - lugging in, going wide, starting last. He also would run down the right rail. Ben Jones made these changes: He cut iff the left blinker cup. Then he trained Whirlaway to race down the rail inside. He parked his lead pony on the track near the raiil and instructed Eddie Arcaro to ride along the rail and go between the rail and the pony. Always keep the rail insight, he told Eddie. When Whirlaway went to race, people joked about him being half-dressed, wearing one goggle cup. But he won the Triple Crown. Eddie Arcaro credits Jones with making the changes and turning the problem colt into a winner.
Also your comment shows your lack of knowledge in this area! Send me your money for a rat!
BS. The horse paddles his left front leg! It does not travel straight which is a deformity of the animal. It's how he goes! Horse circular motion on the left front can possibly be corrected slightly by a shoeing adjustment on the left front hoof. Either toe angle or weight of toe! Mess with the bit and rider change on big race is suspect. If that's the way he goes, then don't Change a thing. How well has he gone in the new bit while training in it? Moreover the rider change is more BS. Tyler did a great job winning everything and just getting beat a nose on the wire is a great job just to get this paddler home! Dance with who Brung you! I smell a rat in here, a big stinky one. I hope Tyler wins the Belmont on the mount he picked up and F Sierra Leone, chalk!
Sierra Leone is one of the hardest names I've ever heard for a racehorse. 10/10 name
LOL! How about our horse Big Hoof Dynamite
I always love your insights into what the horses are using in the big races. And I think this bit just might make a big difference for Sierra Leone!! We know he can do the distance, but now we get to see if he can WIN at this distance!! Hello, Cynci!! I hope you are well? That Mitoli filly looks nice, Jay C. Nehf!! Good Luck at the Races, everyone !! Have a great weekend, everyone!! Your friend, the Retired Paramedic, a S&R Dog and Handler Trainer and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
hey Jay, I Would like an update on the Mitole Filly.
These are the most recent photos/video of her. She will go to Rimroc for breaking in September. She's a very different type than our other Mitole, Songosongo, a stocky little sprint type. This filly is considerably bigger and looks like she could cover a good distance. But it's way too early to pigeon-hole her.
My personal opinion is a ring bit would be much better and it's gentle but gives very good control
That is the old standby. I prefer the Houghton for both steering, which is what the ring bit was designed for, and for a horse that is hard to slow down. Nonetheless, the ring bit can be very effective for a strong puller, I believe because the horse has a good mouthful of jiggling metal.
Interesting.
Jay give me a job"
Looks like she needed a speed work in there she didn’t have enough air to finish
The Force looks primed and ready to go. It looks like a good race for her. Interesting to see the course start and finish line. Looking forward to it!
Best of luck and safe trip!
Thanks for blessing
Good luck!
Good Luck Jay.
I can't wait for Sunday!
Aristeia"s jockey?
As a matter of fact, yes!
Exciting.😂
I had several shares before please let me know how to get In again
Hi Cheryl. Email me and I'll get information to you. You should have my email address or you can go through the website
Can’t wait to see her go!!!
Love your commentaries
The 2024 KY Derby was exciting to watch, and with such polarizing favorites in Fierceness and Sierra Leone, it was great to see Mystik Dan proving, once again, the importance of a great trip.
I think that's true about people not knowing about older horses and horsemen, and also true is that without videos like this, we don't have a glimpse into that living history. Thanks for this video!
Wow somebody is a very good cook! Love to see the great meals/drinks (gives me ideas) along with the great after dinner racing conversation. Feels like we are sitting at the table. Lol. Always enjoy your discussion with Eddie. Retired trainer? Eddie retired? Hope he enjoys retirement!
The Force looks awesome! Love that long stride. I've been watching the news about the synthetic track. Intetesting. Maybe fewer injuries?
